    • Duration: 120 minutes
    • No Negative Marking
    • 50% MCQ Based Questions will be from IPR (General IPR AWARENESS).[Level:Easy-Moderate]
    • 25% MCQ Based Questions will be from Logical Thinking.[Level:Easy-Moderate]
    • 25% MCQ Based Questions will be from Reasoning & English.[Level:Easy-Moderate]
  • Final Round: (October 20, 2019)
    • Exam Pattern & Syllabus:
    • No of Question: 60
    • Duration: 120 minutes
    • No Negative Marking
    • 50% Questions will be from IPR (Case Study/Story Based).[Level:Moderate-Advance]
    • 30% Reasoning,Logical,Quantitative.[Level:Advance]
    • 20% Questions will be from general Science & Technology.[Level:Moderate]

       

      2. For School Students:(8th-12th)

      3. For IPR Professionals/Teachers/Researcher:

      • Round-1 (28th September, 2019):
        • Syllabus:
          1. International IP Regime: World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) – Functions of WIPO – Membership – GATT Agreement – Major Conventions on IP – Berne Convention – Paris Convention – TRIPS agreement.
          2. Indian IP Regime: Overview of IP laws in India – Major IP Laws in India – International treaties signed by India. IPR and Constitution of India.
          3. Law Relating to Industrial Designs and Layout Designs.
          4. Procedure of Patents, Copyright and Trademarks Filing.
          5. Basic knowledge of Geographical Indications.
        • Exam Pattern:
          1. Paper 1 is of 90 minutes and consists of 60 questions.
          2. It is Objective type; Multiple Choice Questions having one and /or more than one option correct.
          3. The candidate is required to pick the right answer(s) amongst given choices.
          4. Candidate must answer all questions in this paper.
      • Final Round ( 29th September, 2019):
        • Syllabus :
          1. Learn about all the treaties and conventions with respect to Patent law and other forms of Intellectual Property (PCT, Budapest treaty, Paris convention, Madrid convention, CDB, GATT, WTO etc).
          2. Understand basic concept of drafting patent specifications including claims.
          3. Understand the process and procedures of PCT.
        • Exam Pattern:
          • It will be a written examination of 3 hours.
